To ask the Labour Government to fully fund its Concessionary Bus Fare Scheme.

Full Text of Petition

The Labour Governments Concessionary Bus Fare scheme has been underfunded in chesterfield by around £1.8 million! If not fully funded the scheme could mean that Chesterfield Borough Council will need to cut nearly 12% of the Council's annual services, up to 80 jobs, or the equivilant of putting Council Tax up by 36%!

I call on the Labour Government to completely fund its Concessionary Bus Fares scheme for Chesterfield - the worst hit Council in England - and all other Councils affected by the devastating under-funding.
