Resident's Parking

Your local Lib Dem Councillors have been in contact with Derbyshire County Council to try and find a solution to the parking problems on the Herriot Drive Estate. Their response was that they 'currently do not have the resources available' for this. We feel this is a priority and will continue to put pressure on them on your behalf.

Residents have also contacted us about speeding traffic in the area and the amount of traffic passing through the estate. Thanks to our pressure we have been assured that a bid for funding for traffic calming measures will be made in 2008/9, but we need Labour-run Derbyshire County Council to approve this. We will continue to put pressure on them to get the measures in place and will keep you up-to-date on what happens!
